The Hadith, which are sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad, provide guidance on breaking the fast with dates. One well-known Hadith on this subject is: Narrated by Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If one of you found a date, he should break his fast with it. If he cannot find any, then (he should break his fast) with water because it is purifying." This Hadith is found in various collections, including Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, and emphasizes the preference for breaking the fast with dates, and if they are not available, then with water. This practice highlights the importance of simplicity and gratitude for whatever provisions one has available to break their fast. May Allah swt guide you all in this temporary life so you can see your family again in Akhira in shaa Allah

Yes Ramadan is more than just abstaining from food, drinks and everything that’s prohibited during fasting. It’s mostly about developing closeness to Allah swt (god) and understand our prayers in a deeper level. Understand our inner-self at the same time. Reflection about us and our Muslim community. A time to fix what’s broken. A time to stand in unity. Also a time where our body heals if we eat both our suhoor and iftar healthily. Ramadan fasting has always been and will always be beneficial for anyone who does it, especially for Muslims both physically and spiritually. It’s given to no other nations but only us. Given to us by non other than Allah swt (god). The most great the most merciful. May Allah swt guide us, you, me and everybody here with guidance and truth and make it easy for us in everything that we are doing in shaa Allah! I’m happy for you brother 🤍🤍🤍

The thing about fasting is that it shows how we control our desires for the sake of Allah. We want to eat that food, we want to listen to our animal self but we don’t because our love for Allah is far greater. I find fasting really helpful, the days I struggle to abstain my self from sinning, I like to fast. And yes we all are hungry as any human should be, but that’s what makes Islam so different, how we live a life in complete submission to Allah.
