i-mmm maybe it's b|c i'm a Black woman who is always disappointed w| shade ranges that include 50 shades of pink, no darker nudes//deep reds, but...i completely understand why Milani, a WoC-centered//inclusive brand would release a shade range w| mostly reds + reddish browns. i'd buy every one of those shades EXCEPT the pink, which i think would look ridiculous on me. LOL my only problem is gonna be narrowing it down, trying to figure out which one or two to get. A black stain is hard to make. If it has any undertone, it won't stain pure black, it'll be a dark red or brown or grey. Plus the stain are usually sheer so your lip colour shows through. I follow an indie brand called Nekoyanin on IG/YT who are trying to make a black lip stain (just in case you wanna see if they do it)

Chiming in as a very pale lady (.5 to 1 shade above alabaster). I'm a neutral warm. I have such a tough time finding foundations that *aren't* cool toned. Sadly they make me look like the walking dead - and not in a pretty way. But I also get frustrated when neutral/warm shades are automatically YELLOW. As with most things, there needs to be an inclusive range available for all the undertones and for all the melanin levels from super light to super deep. ....but I'll still take that crocheted pillow! ❤

Revlon probably filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It's essentially "reorganization" bankruptcy. Revlon will still own the company and remain in business.

Re: the Revlon comments about bankruptcy, there are different types of bankruptcy that companies can file for and the two most common ones don't result in complete dissolution of the company. I could be wrong but I believe Revlon filed for the "reorganization" chapter 11 type of bankruptcy that basically means they work with creditors to reorganize their debts and come up with payment plans to pay over time to save the business from going under. What we're mostly used to is bankruptcy = closing, but there's also a form of bankrupty that is a restructuring of the business, allowing the company to write off most debt and then change the way they do business while staying operational, possibly selling off part of the company, retooling, etc.

Sorry for being tardy to the party, but I just found your channel/ podcast. !Thank you both for calling out the lack of true pale cool tones in all forms of concealers and all kinds of foundation (I"m including BB, CC and skin tints/moisturisers). As a pale girl, who's also verging on mature, I had to stop even trying to find a BB cream/skin tint because it was hitting me hard in the bank account. Now that it's winter in Canada, I use a face tanner in the lightest shade (medium) for the winter along with my blush, etc. It's easy peasy and I can spend more time with my skin care!
