I'm pretty sure it made it worse. I feel the strong pull of influencers too, I just rarely act on it but I definitely feel it.

I can barely come across two videos in a row that are not tik tok shop ads and it’s so frustrating!! I cannot believe people are actually buying the cheap crap that is plastered all over our fyp! I’m considering deleting it at this point because it’s basically one giant walking ad

@@coltonmahony2685 Same! Or I get those lives that are trying to get people to buy the stuff that they’re promoting (it’s usually unnecessary, low quality stuff from TikTok shop). I can’t believe it either but people love convenience and cheap stuff and TikTok shop offers both. TikTok used to be a chill app, now it’s people wanting me to buy stuff that I don’t need

I hate crop tops with a burning passion. They’ve even infiltrated the charity shops. Just give me a regular top that covers everything. Winter in the arms and summer in the belly.
