This brother is right. We see kufur as a "choice" which it is, but in the absolute sense it is indeed the biggest crime, and /or shirk. I'm a westerner, revert to Islam, i did a lot of purification from the morals of here, i was purged from it, at first it was very bad because i lost moral values, but after reverting to Islam it's good because i'm a clean slate more or less, we hear and we obey, i found something which got evidence to it, so it's not like i'm giving myself up to some random cult just to have a community, in fact it's the total opposite, i never was seeking a community, rather i was seeking truth even if i was alone... I'm not perfect tho, now i'm more used to the community in a way, and I pray that Allah purifies my intentions always... But yeah, i can tell this morality is from Allah. And the point i was going to make, even after this, i still sense i have some residual liberal morality in, as the brother said... So may Allah purge that out of me, and make me a good servant of his, following his law totally and not manmade law, neither from liberals or potentially misguided scholars which in the end are men also, Allahu 3alam that may be another fitnah... Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said regarding the Antichrist: "From the time of the creation of Adam until the Hour begins, there will never be a bigger creation than the Dajjal.’” (Muslim, 5239). He is one-eyed, but your Lord is not one-eyed, and between his eyes will be written ‘kafir.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, no. 6598). According to another report: “Written between his eyes will be ‘kaf fa ra.’” (Muslim, no. 5219) “The Dajjal will emerge from a land in the east called Khurasan.” (al-Tirmidhi, no. 2163. ‘The Dajjal will emerge from among the Jews of Isfahan, and with him will be seventy thousand Jews, wearing crowns.’” (Ahmad, no. 12865). “The followers of the Dajjal from among the Jews of Isfahan will number seventy thousand, wearing heavy, striped garments.” According to a report narrated by Imam Ahmad, “Seventy thousand Jews, wearing crowns.” (12865). “He will be followed by people with faces like burnished shields.” (al-Tirmidhi, no. 2136). Hazrat Shaddad bin Aus, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: ‘Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu, a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu, abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya, wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi faghfirli, fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta.” اللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّاأَنْتَ۔ ALLAH HUMA AAMEEN 🤲 Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu, a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu, abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya, wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi faghfirli, fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta. “O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god except You. You created me and I am Your servant. And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability. I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You.” ALLAH HUMA AAMEEN 🤲 If one makes it a habit to recite Istighfar every day, and recites it once after every prayer, then Allah will forgive all his sins. If One recites Sayyidul istighfar, his heart inclined towards good deeds, his heart will be pleased with the worship of Allah. sayyidul istighfar hadith The Holy Prophet(S.A.A.W) added: “If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, they will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, they will be from the people of Paradise.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-Da‘wat) Learning how much of forgiving Allah is, gives huge hope to anyone seeking forgiveness. It is also important to understand the correct way to do Istighfar.
