I stumbled across Brother John on KZbin before there were all these channels on here talking about a deliverance ministry and I purchased his first book. Growing up in a Southern Baptist church in small town Louisiana I never heard anyone talk about things like this. The only thing I really knew about a person having demons causing them to do this or that was something like that movie The Exorcist. Talk about a wake up call😳!!! Even though I read a couple of his books and listened to countless interviews or teachings with him, I learn something different from the same story he tells about when he gave his life to Jesus Christ. When he talks about the life he was living or the dream he had it doesn’t actually ever change but there’s still something different that will resonate with me every time I hear it. It’s quite amazing to me! I appreciate it every time this happens.

My experience is similar to yours. Long time Christian, but his testimony, subsequent books and videos have opened my eyes. One thing I appreciate about him is how his message never changes or deviates. He is very consistent. I love his line ‘I want to make Him glad he chose me!!!’

It helps validate what I have felt all along. There’s so many “exposing” videos on here and a lot of it is kinda like “pot calling a kettle black”. I watched one once. Not sure why, maybe kinda ‘just in case I missed something’. Lol. Or maybe I was not quite sure I was on the right track. And oh boy!!! They just showed a few sound bites and took it all out of context. It was when John was talking about the importance of partnering to further the gospel. The video lumped him in with the other prosperity preachers. They very clearly never took the time to really listen to his messages, read his books, and consider what he is saying. I hope that guy repents for making that rash judgement in that video because I don’t want to know what the eternal consequences are for throwing those public darts at a man who very, very, very clearly loves and follows Jesus Christ.

@@millbillygirl765 sometimes people do the expose video for anyone who has a large following just to get views for their channel. They know that every time someone does a thumbs down or post a comment telling them just how wrong they are it ultimately helps their channel. That’s why it’s best to not even say anything, as hard as that might be. It’s bound to happen to most people who are trying to spread the message of Jesus and they expect it. Context always matters!

2 days ago I got attack, in my vision when I close my eyes the Lord showed me someone was standing outside the house, but the man came inside my house and did something with the plant I put next to the door, becoz of that I got sick all night, when I prayed Holy spirit let me know. I've had these dreams for years off and on of me in a house and I feel something evil and I'm trying to pray it away n out of the house. Also sometimes I see what I feel are witches in my dream and I'm always able to pray and do a deliverance style prayer over them. Usually they try to harm me in my dream but I walk up to them with no fear in Jesus name and put a cross on their forehead with my thumb and pray for the evil to leave. I've seen fear in their eyes b4 when I prayed over them in my dreams. I had a dream of one trying to enter my home but I wouldn't let her and she screamed "it doesn't matter there's a demon in there already". I've had other dreams of a red-headed witch saying they will get me on their side one day. I don't know if these are just dreams or is there deeper meaning? I thought maybe in the dream I am the house trying to pray n get rid of evil in my life?

My grandsons dad and his wife recently have gotten involved in what we believe is Santeria. They have two candles in their home one for Judas and one for a little boy. My daughter’s ex and his wife hate her and our family. Ever since they have been involved in this I have noticed a change in my grandson and all of our walks with God have been shaken. I was in an accident where a drunk driver almost pushed me off a cliff. As I drifted toward the cliff I said God I do not want to die this way and my car stopped. I know He stopped my car. The passenger side of my car that stopped near the cliff was not damaged at all my Bible sat on the passengers seat of my car, but the other side of my car was totaled. I was not seriously injured so I know God was present and He protected me. But I could not help but think this was an attack through witchcraft to come against our family. Since then my job has been threatened with layoffs and issues with health. My daughter’s pregnancy has been complicated as well. There has been strong and complacency in our home. How do we pray against those who are coming against us with witchcraft. I know the authority I have in Jesus over the enemy but people are not the enemy. We pray for their salvation and deliverance but it is clear they are using this to come against us. So how do we address this?
