1. When reinstalling the sediment filter, fill the filter housing with a little water by slightly turning on the inlet. This will have the filter float in the housing so it can catch the pipe in the cap where the hole in the filter needs to sit. They all need to seat properly, but the sediment filter is the one that moves around the most. 2. You don't need to tighten the housing that much. All it does is make it harder to take off next time. Next time you change the filters, try just slightly tightening past hand tight. As you said in the video, if it's not tight enough, it's easy to tighten more. 3. Do not turn on the bypass when changing the filters. This will cause filthy water to fill your pipes if someone turns on the water in your house while you're changing the filters. Just change the filters at a time when nobody is using the water. Bypass is emergency only. 4. When turning the system back on, do not turn on the outlet valve first. This will cause house water to run backwards in your filter system. 5. When turning on the inlet valve, do it slowly, and while the housings are slowly filling with water, press the red button at the top to let the air out of the housings. Move from right to left as the housings fill with water to let the air out. This keeps the air from entering your house pipes. You could also just keep the red button down on the left-most housing while all three fill with water and displace the air. 6. With that "cage" mount system, there are cases where the wrench will not be able to get on the left-most housing's grooves if the middle housing is already installed due to the filter housing and metal bar blocking the wrench from catching -- it's rare, but it has happened to me. Thus, I like to do right-most, left-most, center.

’m in the market for a whole house water system and saw your videos on the system. Can you please provide an update of how the system is performing since you’ve installed it? Thanx

I am very happy with it. It’s working great!

Awesome. Thank you. Good tips! I added a pressure relief faucet off from the filter loop that empties into the work sink in my garage. Makes the pressure relief/flushing part so much easier.

Nice video but I'm guessing you didn't use a level when you installed the unit on the wall. 😂🤔

It appears that you placed the water filtration series after the water softener. Is that correct? Why did you chose to do it that way instead of vice versa? Thank you.

Awesome video! Thanks for posting and doing the hard work. and it’s a really nice system! Hard to get accurate results stupid test stripes aren’t very reliable.
