I didn't even realize the document holder automatically comes out when you print! That is a really great feature because honestly sometimes I forget to pull it out and papers end up on the floor...or if I am not home and I email a document to print this keeps it from dropping. So far I am very pleased with this little printer. It definitely surpassed my expectations! Plus the size being smaller than workforce series was a bonus!

i own one and am pleased with it so far. does anyone know the largest sheet size it can take though? I know the rear feed can be used for bigger sizes, but i specifically need prints on a 12x18 glossy paper

Not in a single pass. It scans one side of the paper, then flips it around and scans the other side. It does it automatically though using the automatic document feeder.

I haven't even needed the app, I just connected to the printer's wifi signal and then printed using the share button.
