Happy New Year everyone! I have a new blog post up, describing the Portuguese traditions in January. This video is the audio pronunciation to some of the most common expressions and vocabulary used at this time of the year.
Red represents suppressed syllables or letters, green represents where links in the sentence may occur and blue are sounds that are added or transformed. Some of these suppressions can vary slightly depending on the speed of the speech and local accent. Please note that the resulting "linked" words in this video are not the way they would ever be written. I offer you my views on pronunciation through the eyes and ears of someone who went through the process of learning Portuguese myself as a foreigner (albeit when I was very young). I have a huge interest in this subject and I'm always trying to learn more and improve my knowledge on it.
