I finally found the time to watch this after coming back from Morocco. I really enjoyed listening. What a thoughtful conversation. Not being focused on the "products" but on the experience resonated so much for me (still being full of experience from my last trip ☺). I found myself nodding along all the time - and having a good laugh, too! What a great way to spend my Saturday afternoon! And I get the fascination for geology just coming back from Morocco with all the layered rock formations. What stays with me - let go! Thank you Rachael, Bruce and Alister!

Alister, this was an absolutely brilliant way to pass an hour with three really nice people. Yes, I think it was very important to have Rachael on there to keep an eye on the FACTS 🤣. All jokes aside I really enjoyed listening to you guys. Thank You.

Great conversation! Fascinating insights, intriguing contrast of views and great good humour making a thought-provoking mix. Bruce's natural reticence didn't hold him back this time either. Much enjoyed!

Alister, thank you for the introduction to Rachael Talibart and her magnificent work! I have been following Bruce Percy’s images for some time now, but was unaware of Rachael. Three great photographic inspirations in one video. Wow!

Once again an excellent and so valuable session! Only problem was that I started watching at midnight and couldn't stop until the end. Thanks to the three of you!

The best hour I have ever spent on KZbin! I also echo Rachel's choice for a fiction book, though it's not my personal favorite. I think every aspiring writer should read the opening pages of Bleak House; it's masterful!

What an excellent discussion. Having watched this I realized that I have many elements that were discussed in my thoughts and experiments recent past. This discussion has legitimized many of my recent trains of thought and has confirmed some of my dalliances with new avenues. Thank you.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable episode. I always like to see what makes good photographers tick and there were good questions to this end giving a degree of insight. I would agree knowing something about the geology of a landscape and how it was formed makes the experience of getting out and taking photographs or just going for a walk so much more interesting than doing so with little or no understanding.

I think the 3 person format works very well. Its funny how over time our lens focal choices change and what we prefer. Im now in the same camp as Bruce 24-50 range ive gone off the "ultra" ends. Happy 2025 to you all

There is a debate about all art being a self portrait. I think that is what you were getting at in your conversation, at least in part. This was a great conversation for sure. Thanks for sharing it.

Hi Ben, great video, as usual. I have a question : i get some troubles with the gfx 100 files on my windows PC, and i'm thinking about to switch to mac. What configuration you use, and you're completely satisfied with it ? Many thanks .....
