Great video. I got this working tonight. One more thing that you must set up in Betaflight is that Arm must be on Aux1 and must also be active high. This is stated in a completely different section of the ELRS docs. Mine (all of my aircraft) were set up as active low and none worked until I changed them to active high (easy to invert in the mixer tab). Hope this helps someone.

Got it setup and all working but struggling to get the vrx to close with the backpack inside. Where did you put your backpack? Is it inside or have you got it mounted on the outside?

I removed the SMD antenna and put it on the opposite side to the jog wheel

I just installed a VRX-Backpack EP82 module on my hdzero rx. Updated Rx and vtx firmware. The image is ok, so the update was successful but when I try to change the channel, it changes only on the vtx of the drone, while on the rx module the screen goes black and you only see the images of the antennas but it remains blocked. To make it work I have to unplug it from the power supply and plug it back in. Obviously, I also updated the backpack module as you did. What can it depend on?

Ok, it sounds like the following Is happening: 1) the command is received by the backpack and changes the channel on the VRX 2) the vtx in your quad is not actioning the command - potential fixes 1) are you using a HDZ VTX with Smart Audio such as a Race or Freestyle? Whoop doesn’t have smart audio so is not compatible with Backpack 2) Have you enabled telemetry on the Configuration page in BF 3) When you go to the VTx tab in BF does it show “VTX Ready = Yes” ie that shows your vtx is setup correctly

My head hurts lol. Great video but pushing a button on my goggles sounds way easier.
