I've been waiting for this! We have a Boss V-plow and love it and have a old Blizzard Speed wing but always wanted to convert to Boss if you guys ever came out with one similar and finally its here and we are getting one put on before winter. Can't wait to have all the fleet to be a Boss. -Chant

We run the westerns at Michigan and they are incredible, but this thing looks insane. You just can’t really find videos of people using them?? Plus I do like chain risen Instead of hydraulic

Have a Boss EXT and after 2years, the A arme pivot bushing ripped out... Found out that there was only a cupule spot welds that holds the bushing. Realy poor welding buy BOSS... My last Boss plow for sure. From Cookshire, Qc

Can anyone tell me why I would ever not want my plow to float? Just trying to figure out why my Boss by default goes to stationary when I drop it, and requires a double click or really long hold to switch to float. Been plowing 40+ yrs, never found situation I wanted the plow not to float. What would I be doing with it that I would want it to remain at one height? Other than traveling down the road with it all the way up. Anybody else out there ever use stationary?

If you look over on "The Plowsite" for the Boss EXT you are NOT going to find many positive postings on the Boss EXT. www.plowsite.com/threads/any-redesign-in-the-works-for-ext.173419/page-3#post-2283415 (just one thread of several) I purchased the 2017 model and have had the chance to put it to serious use a couple of times this year (2019 little snow fall amounts in the 2017-2018 season), wish I had found the chatter on Plowsite before purchasing this plow. The EXT has some serious "issues" mostly related to the A-frame being a little too under built for the plow IMHO. There are a few other issues I have with it not mentioned there, the curb bumper guard sets nearly 4 inches off of the pavement level resulting in curb jumping on older curbs with settling and repaving having gone on over time. When the plow does jump the curve a bit it plays hell with the Polyurethane extension cutting edge... ripped one of mine all the way up to the metal mounting point for it. Not good @ $130.00 - $140.00 per wing edge! Seems every Pin point on the plow is having some excessive wear, which would to me back up the complaints on The Plowsite of the frame not being beefy enough for the plow. In closing it is worth mentioning, the base ideal behind this plow is good. The Boss EXT is a beast at moving snow, it piles high and well, wind rows excellent, and does the finish clean up with minimal passes. Back dragging is mediocre and best done with the wings retracted... the poly wing edges being 1 1/2" thick have a tendency to float a bit (1/2" +) over the ground surface. The Boss EXT clears access roads and city streets good, refer to great wind row capabilities leaving little to no slow trailing @ angle off the opposite side. With the expanded width it makes pretty quick work of most open lots and streets. Boss, you could have had a real winner here with a little more attention to the A-frame build in relation to a plow of this size and weight. A little more "real world" attention to the finishing aspects of the plow i.e. the curb guards and the plow extension wing edges. My rating on a 5 point system 5 being the best score... 2.5! Fix the frame and you have addressed most of the complaints out there, turn a deaf ear and wind up just discontinuing the plow due to low sales. That would be sad as with a little more attention to these details you's have had a winner! Oh, and yea the other complaint I've seen... this thing takes too long to go into the "Float" mode... Everyone else is taking off & I'm still puttering along waiting for the plow to go to float. Good Day! and "let it snow, let it snow..."
