im curious if you can damage the batteries by over charging instead of allowing them to drain at least 50% before turning on auxiliary power

@bentheredonedonthat9296 I am not sure about that, but my batteries are 8 months with lots of use. My batteries do not hold a good charge and can barely make my 6 miles round trip to grocery stores. The power station gives me that extra power to easily make the trip. When I get the new batteries installed, I will still probably turn the power station on and use it like a car alternator. Also the batteries I have in my scooter are Lead Acid, like a car. Maintenance Free.
