Jake...so your driver lost too huh?
@fubbaquestor5 жыл бұрын
Oh this comment... pretending that a negative comment about the race means I don't like the winner, and that ruined the race. Sure, I'm not a KB fan, but other than pit road miscues what happened in the race? I'll wait. This package made a track that produces awesome racing most every year (and especially in the Xfinity race this year) into a follow the leader snooze fest (actually this package doesn't even allow that). It's disappointing to see this and other awesome tracks neutralized so we can have a slightly better race on cookie cutter 1.5's.
@DanKoning7775 жыл бұрын
Jake Heldt the real issue is this: no matter what the package, certain fans aren't happy. People whined like crazy when the 48 figured out the "car of the future" better than the rest; the recent "small spoiler" that the drivers loved [b/c it took talent to drive] caused tons of wrecks/$ for small budget/less talented drivers, and teams, AND they took out many ppls favs while wrecking during races. This new "downforce" car has created new issues, and new whiners. The reality is this: those whining are the ones whos fav(s) didn't, or are not winning with whatever issues the "new" packages creates; thats the truth of it. Its merely a case of being a poor sport/sore loser.

Again, I'm talking about the in track product, not who won and lost. If Kyle Busch won a fantastic race, I'd be bummed, sure, but entertained and happy to have seen a great race. The on track product does not allow for a high quality of racing. The Xfinity race shouldn't provide a higher quality racing experience than it's higher level cup counterpart on a nearly weekly basis. NASCAR's best are hamstrung by an interior car (gen 6 is bad regardless of package, but this new package has proven worse) where they can't race in proximity of each other. You're talking about driver favoritism when that isn't related at all to my point. Ask anyone who's watched or driven the last three generations of the car and the Gen 4 from a quality of racing standpoint wins in spades every time.
@DanKoning7775 жыл бұрын
AGAIN...you're rambling, and in the end it all boils down to the same thing: [can't believe I'm going to say this] "track product" i.e. NASCAR's different car packages that ends up creating whining due to the different races fans end up having to watch; more cautions - less cautions - close racing - cars spread out and on/on, all while different teams benefit within a given package that upsets certain fans. Don't reply; I'll delete it w/o reading it.

After watching Busch, Harvick, and Truex race each other cleanly [yet exciting like Jr. said] and then watching Hamlin blocking, and doing "whatever to whomever"....I was glad that Busch raced Hamlin the way he raced him in these shots. I swear, Hamlin would punch his mom in the face for a win; just ask the 9. Hamlin has no character; no class. He needs a sit down w/M Martin.

Agreed. But is that really a compliment? Awful racing throughout. This package has killed the drivers ability to be aggressive and create drama.

@@davegordon468 NASCAR built this package to make the cookie cutters marginally better at the expense of good tracks. It hurts to see Dover, ISM, Richmond, and Homestead become boring because cars aren't able to drive remotely close to one another
