Saka, Martinelli, ESR, Tomiyasu, Ramsdale, White, Odegaard, Gabriel are all in their early twenties. If Arsenal keep this team together and supplement them with additional quality it inevitable they will be among the top teams challenging for the title. Arsenal had a penalty in the 1st half but the ref & VAR denied it-Ederson made contact with Martinelli after Martinelli had touch the ball-Ederson's challenge was late. VAR was cruel to Arsenal. That foul on Oddegard looks like a 50/50 to me. I tried to Slo-mo but I still can’t determine if Ederson got the ball FIRST. So I guess the refs had a hard time looking at it today. I’m not surprised and I’m completely fine about it. In my opinion, I think the ref’s decision was correct since it looks more like Ederson got the ball before Oddegard. Well done City it was really tough game for us for a combination of reasons. One we were fatigued after playing 3 games in a week and two a fresh well rested Arsenal really played well. I don’t know why all these pundits are saying Arsenal were robbed, all decisions were correct, as a defender if you stick your leg out or tug someone’s shirt you are asking for trouble, if it was Salah or Kane instead of Bernardo, nothing would be said. @Aden Omar I don’t think it was a foul, but that’s my opinión and i do believe it’s the VAR refs who instruct the ref, but that could have gone either way, you talk of consistently, I remember watching highlights when Arsenal played Newcastle I thought Newcastle had 3 good shouts too, nothing given there. We felt hard done by too a few times this season especially Foden, they do say it evens itself out throughout the season. All the best for the rest of the season.
