Firstly they don't have the depth to win 2 trophies and secondly they are grooming their young players. And for a young player to get game time in these countries and stadiums is priceless. Look at the bigger picture. Nobody remembers the winner off these trophies, but we all remember who won the last two world cups.

We simply do not have the talent to be competitive against the best clubs in the world even with our Springboks it seems. At least not consistently. This is getting embarrassing. A back to back world cup winning nation and we are getting schooled all too often. The future isn't looking bright once our experienced springboks are out of the picture. We get angry when the Northerners say we dont belong in the competition and the arrogant among us call them scared. Scared of what? Mediocrity? If you can even call our teams mediocre at this point. We almost never won super rugby but we always stood a chance. In this competition we will know humiliation like never before.

Based on what you're babbling about we have all the talent in the world. Why doesn't that reflect in the results? Any competent team can win the URC and the Challenge cup. With us having the best rugby schools in the world that shouldn't even be brought up as its a given that we should be competitive. Thats no reason to think your shit dont stink. The fact that I gave my opinion in that we do not have the talent to compete against the best clubs in the world and you got angry and insulted me speaks volumes about your character. If at some time you stop being hysterical long enough to actually read an internalize what I'm about to say then explain something to me? Leinster makes the final of the champions cup the last three years in a row doesn't win it but they are there! That same Leinster is beaten by an SA team at the Aviva stadium in the URC semi-finals all three years as well. Now does it stand to reason that if those SA teams who beat Leinster a three time Champions cup finalists every year Leinster made the Champions cup final (not once mind you that would be coincidental but every year) fielded their full strength teams in the Champions cup only, with the intent on winning it, that those same teams would reach the Champions cup final? Bearing in mind that the Bulls did it twice so this applies to them especially? Our teams are not under strength due to a lack of talent it's a lack of experience comes with the territory of producing the best players. EVERY ONE WANTS THEM! Meaning when they peak they usually end up playing for those teams you think are "so great" yeah I wonder why?! I used caps there for emphasize, not as a display of frustration. However I will say it is rather vexing I had to explain this to a South African, so again when you watch rugby are you getting emotional or paying attention?

@@markdanielleanderson4323 I'll be honest with you what I find frustrating is that you see the same thing every week below par SA teams taking a pasting from mid-tier teams and everyone losing their minds about it. That was always the expected out come why are people surprised our teams are surprisingly quite competitive for b and c strings for the first 40 minutes go check they were al withing striking distance score wise at half time. This is encouraging to say the least. So yes I understand it's a uniquely annoying spot to be in as an SA rugby fan but have faith that there is an overall plan going forward. Lastly I apologize for my snarkiness I can sometimes come across as a bit antagonistic and could definitely choose my words better. Cheers. 😊

I agree with blackscreenfilmsnd Werne. This champions cup is too much. WE should have just played in the URC. We can't expect our Boks to come off their test schedule straight into URC then into Champions Cup. WE should have agreed to play only in the URC. These players are now playing 12 months of the year. No excuses but it's too much. It will take its toll on the national side. It stupid and ridiculous. Most of us played rugby, how do these guys do 12 months? We did 8 months max and that was pretty tough, then recuperate - injuries etc for four months.
