When the roles were reversed a few years ago i believe wales won by 30 something points. Appalling refereeing the collapsed maul was a joke Would Wales have scored and who caused the maul to collapse. Just look at what happened when Scotland crossed the line at the end of the game they were robbed just like England. Referees are damaging the game. Wales played 16 players to Englands 13. The head rule is pathetic and used by crooked referees, its time for England to learn to get their heads in the way then watch them be dismissed for ungentlemanly behaviour. Why wasn't a Penalty try given to England for the deliberate knock on that ruined a try scoring chance. Also the side step at the conversion, this is done by many players so why was it judged against England. Sick of seeing matches ruined by dodgy referees.

The refs are being naive about these so called head collisions. The welsh man that went down and called for assistance and was treated with ice packs and sponges was running around like a spring chicken 10 seconds after Chessum was sent off. If someone is carded for a head tackle at least the person he tackled should have an hia. This is being exploited regularly by the welsh and Irish teams.

I loved the fact the referee had to justify his decision to send off an English player by lying when he said the Welshman was upright the reply shows he’s actually bent over. Some shocking decisions, the kicker is allowed a sidearms step the law says forward movement when kicking fir conversion. Incredible bias against England, just how many opposition player do the England team have yo okay against, shocking stuff. Then scotland get a perfectly good try clear and obvious grounding disallowed total shameful stuff all round. It just spoils the whole thing for me, what’s the point of even watching any more.

I thought it was on the whole incredibly dull game between two poor sides. If England are going to come out publicly and declare they want to entertain the fans and then do nothing o the sort they’ll be rightly criticised. The atmosphere at Twickenham was for the large part flat not helped by the usual TMO interventions and the endless time resetting scrums. We know Borthwick game plan is kick based but there were times yesterday particularly on turn over ball where the opportunity was there to run at a disorganised Welsh defence. However we’re 2 from 2 which is what really matters. Scotland away is going to be tough.

I can’t remember any England coach being given this much slack for such crappy performances. If anyone is happy with this rubbish we’re in real trouble. Another papering over the cracks job. Congratulations to Wales for actually being able to pass the ball properly in front of the man and manipulate space in multiple phase play…something England backs can’t do. @@hughzapretti-boyden9187 It’s interesting how you’ve come to that conclusion considering he was the forwards coach for Japan and England when he was with Eddie. Which is neither the defence or attack coach. He helped transform Japan out of minnow status and was part of the coaching team when England were actually doing well under Eddie. He had to come in when England were an utter shambles and had 9 games to try and turn them into a team that wouldn’t embarrass themselves at a World Cup. He was never going to do anything drastic, no coach would. Rebuilding a team takes time. There are going to be teething issues. If England started trying to play like the All Blacks or Ireland straight away it would be disastrous. You act as though coaches can’t develop or improve overtime. Our game plan predicated on the opposition dropping a catch or giving away penalty’s isn’t a good one. Multiple times in Wales own half we still box kicked/kicked. When we play we look good I’d just like to see us be braver and have a go from 30/40m out sometimes. He moved to the side, and the ref decided this constituted the start of his run up to the ball. I understood (and I may be wrong) that the rule for charging the kicker was only once the kicker has started his run up to the ball. A lot of kickers move to the side before the run up. Another 'rule' or policy that doesn't get evenly applied. Sigh. Think there were a bunch of odd decisions, in both directions, by this ref. Perhaps he was trying to get on the score sheet.
