But Kelleher would be right to say he does not want to be in a three way competition when he could easily be first choice at a very long list of clubs. He needs to be the first choice somewhere at this point in his career, even if it is not a top club. Sometimes respect means shaking hands and parting ways.

This is the first time I see Jaros in action and he's impressive. He definitely comes out stronger and with more pondus than Kelleher. The first save was exactly like Alison blocks the way. And it's great that we have guys like Gakpo in rotation. I strongly believe in Darwin. But we can't afford to stick to players who can or can't be something down the line. Quansah should go on loan to another club for a season or two to give him time. And Robertson may be past his best. Perhaps we need a new defender in his position. We can definitely match Man C with our strongest team, but what if and when injuries set in? There's no weak links in Pep's team. If we gonna break their dominance we must have top players at every position in rotation. It's the only way to deal with the kind of ruthlessness they show seasons in and seasons out. Liverpool should be that club. It's all fine to race them towards the goalline, but finally everything else than champion doesn't count. Man C is about to become Premier League's Real Madrid and Arsenal is on the move. There are still places in Liverpool that need to be strengthened. ❤

Whatever it is, Quansah better step up, because if we gonna race Man C down the line, there's no time to waste and Slot knows it. Let Quansah go on loan for a couple of seasons and see if he can live up to his talent. Liverpoo can't afford one weak player in rotation. I can see that there's still room for improvement. Good is no longer good enough if Liverpool wants to be the club that breaks Man C's domination. We have to be the best no matter who starts and who's on the bench. Slot has stepped up the rotation and he can't wait for a player who doesn't take the chances he gets. ❤

The result was 0:2 when he was replaced! (Not sure that was a good idea.) Unfortunately, his goal didn't come together again, but he plowed the pitch as long as he played. And this is usually the case in other games as well. You can look back. For some reason, the team does better when he plays. However, like when a needle gets stuck on a record, some people can only sculpt all the time. I think I'd be kicked out of the team. They wouldn't find another one who would be as cool as him. I know that this was not his game and task in his previous team, but now he does the "dirty" work if necessary. That's all. Guys, we won again. How about you relax a little.

7:18 Diaz's run for Gakpo is really poor here. He puts his own passing space in the defender's cover shadow. If he lingers 1-2 yards back and 1-2 yards to the right, Cody puts him 1v1 with the keeper with room to work with. That is why Cody feels forced to chip a ball towards Szoboslai, who has trouble with his first touch while running at speed. Compare with how Nunez + Salah combined for the equalizer against Arsenal. I have always had huge mancrush on Diaz -- this guy is always fun to watch, but there are a number of little ways that he is naive in terms of giving/receiving passes, that hurts the final product.
