Forest fan here - I thought overall we looked evenly matched and a draw was probably the right result. Can't believe you guys didn't score during the 2nd half onslaught, although you could argue we defended well, in particular Williams' block off the line. We could have scored another, and possibly should have done in the 1st half too. Delighted with the win, take them however they come, especially against such a top side. Good luck for the season (until we play you again)!

Cheers for coming in peace mate, but the game as a whole was not evenly matched. You had the first 30 minutes for sure, after that it was pretty much one way traffic. We hit the bar twice, missed a penalty, scored a controversially disallowed goal and created other chances. Check xg or any other stats you care to. Nothing against Forest and I wish you all the best this season, but just wanted to set the record straight re: the ‘evenly matched’ comment.

@@9dodger9 Hey Troy, I think if I was on the other side I'd absolutely view it the way you do, I certainly think you were unfortunate not to score and get something out of the game. I've genuinely not come here to argue, I've no interest in it, but as you mentioned stats I would like to share that Forest actually had 1 more shot on target than West Ham...albeit two of yours hitting the woodwork which wouldn't count, but even with those it's quite close. xG is an interesting stat isn't it, Brentford love that one - ours was 1.97, yours was 2.09, so again, very close. Appreciate you had more shots than us overall but nine of those were outside of the box. I fully expected us to spend most of the game without the ball and defending, I thought we dealt with it pretty well overall What I was really pleased with, was how cohesive we looked at times despite 8 new Signings starting and how at times we matched your midfield with Rice in there 🤯 I like West Ham and want you guys, along with Newcastle to give the 'top 6' a headache!

You have a slightly higher xG because you had a penalty (which on another day McKenna would have left and keeper would have saved or Williams would have received a foul in the build up, lowering your xG by about 0.75) and because of Soucek's missed header from five yards which came to him fortuitously from a low xG shot from Fornals (which would have lowered your xG by about 0.5). Those represented good chances absolutely, but they were simply fleeting moments in the second half rather than part of sustained good chance after good chance. A draw probably would have been a fair result but that's football. I'm sure you'll win games you don't deserve to and Forest will lose games they don't deserve to as well.

Result that Forest worked hard for. They gave their everything. We are devastated since nothing went our way today. crossbars, two. Unacceptable goal. lost the penalty. And unfortunate to admit Let's avoid going too far. It was difficult to play Man City and then Forest, who were obviously experiencing strong emotions. Why didn't Moysie start the substitutes earlier, or even bring them on? Antonio is a nice guy, but he moves slowly and doesn't contribute toward the goal. He was disappointing, Benrhama and Cresswell played well, but our defence is like Swiss cheese. On the plus side, however, we are ahead of Man Utd. 💪

Antonio got rugby tackled 2 times and the ref didn't care it was very unlucky but Antonio deserved to foul their defender back the ref was blind about his decisions I watched it live and was screaming at the ref for his decision but it was overall unlucky hope we have a better season towards the end

I'm sorry Forest fans, I have to say that if you keep playing like that your going to get found out. W. Ham are having the worst of luck at the moment and should have won that game. Forest for me look very weak as a team and maybe it's because so many players have to gel but keep performing like that and you are going down. It's strange me saying this because you guys won but W. Ham looked the much more confident teeam on the ball anyone could see the gulf in quality between the few teams.
