Extended Highlights of the Rangers FFIT vs Denny Warriors in the Appin Warriors Premier League!
The Warriors currently play in the Appin Warriors Premier League with 11 other teams which stem from the same motives as ours. We aim to support good physical and mental well-being in our community through football and other activities.

BACKGROUND:
In July 2020, the Denny Warriors founder, Gary Thorne decided to start a new football team to help him settle into Denny, meet new people and improve his fitness/mental health. It all started with a simple Facebook post in the local community page and instantly it was a very popular idea and he realised he wasn't alone.
Soon after, the first training session was arranged and unexpectedly 26 guys turned up to a local grass park. 22 of those 26 are still part of this team today. The commitment and hard work of the guys from that first day to now is why we have continued to develop.
In September 2020, the Warriors were invited along to Ochilview Park to meet the CEO of Stenhousemuir F.C. after he had taken notice of the Warriors volunteer work within the community. After just one meeting together an offer was made by Stenhousemuir that would see Denny Warriors F.C. become officially affiliated to the SPFL Club.
So training went from "doon at the Herbie" to under the floodlights of Ochilview Park and coupled with the huge benefits and support from Stenhousemuir, it started to reflect on the guys but most notably, it was a place to call home. Our new relationship with Stenhousemuir gave us the privilege of playing and training at Ochilview Park each week but being part of the FFIT Scotland set up at the time also came with it's perks.
To think that many of our members believed their football days were gone before joining the Warriors. It is an honour for us to be playing together week in week out, but to do it together in professional SPFL stadiums up and down the country.
