When you have won the Tour twice and still talk about winning a stage like it was your first time, that's pure love for the sport. Tadej is a beast who is having a ton of fun! On a sidenote, it feels weird not seeing Sepp Kuss assist JV on the climbs. He is sorely missed.

Pogi is actually unbelievable, just levels above the rest. He just created a 40 second buffer out of nothing but pure strength!

Riders who are "levels above the rest" don't duke it out in equal fights over four consecutive Tours - they dominate without anyone else having a go at anything. He and Vingegaard are both great, which is the reason we have been seeing this contest for the past several years.

Congratulations to Tadej Pogačar. Despite it looking like a bad day for Jonas, he moved up to second place and still has a fighting chance tomorrow. The big winner against expectations and analysis at the moment is Remco Evenepoel. It's unfortunate what they threw at Tadej and Jonas. Especially the flare in the Dane's face with 2 km left.

Yes indeed, what people tend to forget is that Remco also was involved in the Basque Country crash. Broken collar bone and shoulder blade. Not to be compared to what Jonas went through but still, he didn't have the best preparation either. I think he is doing it smartly this TdF, whenever it's going to fast uphill stick to his own tempo. I am so pumped to see what will happen at the final ITT.

@@wimve4719 Except that Jonas haven't sustained all those injuries. Only $ucker$ believe he did. He was back on the bike 2 weeks after he came from Spain. Visma took an opportunity to create this God-like hero who rose from the dead to deceive UAE and to give Jonas some charisma in the media because that equals sponsors and sponsors as you may know equal money. It's a movie script. Doctor doesn't give info on injuries to the media, the team does. Put 2 and 2 together now. It's Lance move rising like a Phoenix from the ashes, except Lance's situation was actually real, so was Jonas' crash, just not all those injuries. Thank me later. 😜😜😜

Anything can happen, although JDV was deeply injured came from ICU, he showed to the world who's the greatest....it's not about winning only, but the ability to resurrect from severe injury and fight no one can surpass. If he s will be beaten he is still the best.

It is so wild that even when he is not 100% fit (which I assume considering his crash was still so recent), Vingegaard is still 2nd in the GC. Shows how powerful he is. And that makes it such a treat for us, having such great riders at the top. I think any sport gets more interesting when you have such close competitors. It really elevates it by showing just how good they are at what they do :D

@@pow3r17 no do not. Because either visma lied about his form and injuries to play mindgames. Remember he was close to the tour meaning he had already prepared for 1 year close to the tour so his form was almost to peak then the crash came. So when he got back on the bike he already had many ours in the legs. And his style of riding is putting watts over power hes not explosive rider so it is more than able for him to be where he is now. And even now u can see he is not 100 procent so whats ur point?

With this stage - Pogi wins the TDF. Visma tactically, do not have a response to the level of support of Almeida & Yates. Sepp Kuss is supremely missed by Visma and Jonas of course. Visma management has let down Jonas and I would not be surprised to see him racing with another team next year.

I felt that stage 11 was Pogacar playing mind games. It's just not Pogacar's style to sit on Vingegaard's wheel up the last hill and then do a Carapaz and try to steal the win. I think he made a show of sprinting with Vingegaard but didn't really want to take the win from him. The idea that he didn't have the better of Vingegaard on that stage was suspect. Today was Pogacar at his best -but kudos to Vingegaard for limiting the losses; he's having a terrific Tour under the circumstances.
