There are no more sprint stages (all flats), 3 mountain, 1 hilly and 1 time trial stages remaining. I think the lead of Biniam (36 points) is still great due to the fact that there are no more flat stages. He just need to take the wheel of Jasper always on Intermediate sprints and I think he will remain with the green till Nice.

The video coverage knew the three roundabouts could be problems, yet the video of Girmay's crash is blocked by trees? US coverage announcers had stated earlier that the final sprint should not have curves (such as these!), yet when Girmay crashed on the roundabout (why???) they simply decided Philipsen had been the best sprinter the entire Tour and failed to even mention Girmay. Yeah right, that's why Girmay had such a strong lead until this!!!!!!!!!! These American announcers are difficult to endure.

Jasper = zero issues Please guys, what are some of you watching saying he should have been relegated… He’s on the wheel of the lead bike and is allowed to launch for his own sprint. When launches and moves to (our right) he then has zero deviation up to the line. KZbin has the slow motion option, and you see his move also doesn’t cause the Uno-X rider to deviate or move to the Barrer (plus said Uno-X rider is trying to launch Kristoff) Jaspers rear wheel is clear of the front of the Uno-X rider. There is absolutely zero wrong with this move. Please before some of you comment, educate yourselves on what moves are and are not allowed, sure he’s had bad moves in the past, but that was about as clean as win as you’ll ever see! If you want to speculate on Bauhaus behind him, this would be a better discussion, but to comment as a casual fan and have no understanding of the basics is just poor form. Have some decorum.

Videographers - good job! Both with the cyclists, and the scenery. They're beautiful! Philipsen did great, and his sympathy for Girmay is darn good sportsmenship. I hope Girmay bounces back from that crash comfortably for the next stages so he can get back to his proper sprinting with the pack (also injuries suck!)

L'image est vraiment souvent assez pourrie sur la chaine France 2, pour un tour de France ; on a même du mal à lire les panneau routiers souvent .. ; c'est de la HD d'opérette (de la bonne HD suffit ! Pas besoin de 4K) !! Je préfère les courses cyclistes qui se passent à l'étranger ; les images et la couverture de l'évènement sont meilleures souvent.. Je pense que la maladie de l'image , c'est la "compression" ; on fait , on se retrouve avec des images imprécises, aléatoires, , et détruites selon les besoins de la bande passante !!! ça , c'est la faute de la distribution de l'image par France tv; il y a aucun doute.. ça m'inquiète vraiment pour les JO de 2024 !! Et le matériel pour filmer ne semble pas tout à fait top .. C'est comme la saturation des couleurs claires et des blancs, en général, à la tv ; les couleurs très claires sont brulées par saturation.. Ce qui n'est pas normal (mauvais réglage ou mauvais matériel ?). En France , on a 20 ans de retard, on dirait..
