First time watching Sunderland thus season, only watches highlights of amad but while watching the game against Luton I saw something impressive. The tall black guy in the middle for Sunderland is the one that kept them in the game because the entire team was getting bullied and he stood up against Luton gigantic bullies and gave Sunderland the platform to gained confidence

All together this is still less then the 75,118 record from Roker Park and even our most reccent Championship season when we finished bottom we still averaged double the dog pound's capacity! Luton has had outline planning permission for 4 years but still haven't got detailed plans let alone having actually broken ground! Meaning Luton are 2 - 3 seasons away from a new ground. If you do go up this season then the Premier League should reject the dog pound and make Luton play at Stadium MK

Commentator gives Patto credit for stopping the initial shot in Luton's goal sequence but it wasn't him but the goalpost. It was a tremendous strike, the pace on the rebound was just redirected for the goal in a fantastic snap reaction. Patterson deserves huge credit for closing down and covering the goalmouth. A very scrappy piece of play by both sides but that's football. Sometimes you just have to go with it. The lads reaction to going a goal down was fantastic. They didn't let their head drop and carried on fighting. Such a great footballing team. Mobray has worked wonders to harness their youth and ability, keeping them focused when injury setbacks could so easily have led to despair. Necessity is truly the mother of invention! Ha'way the lads!
