There are different kinds of education. While some surveys show that WVa is behind in white collar learning, I bet you the farmers of West Virginia know more about agriculture, practical skills, survival, and how to stretch a dollar than you. Not everyone who graduated from college is wise or knows practical skills. Many graduates do, but many graduates don't. The truly educated know the dangers of overgeneralizations. Of course W. Virgina needs to improve its education system.

I’m surprised to say you want him to be more conservative. I hear from several people that he has been way too conservative. That he eliminates several very popular laws across the United States, including even things that Republicans agree with. Like paid family leave for three months after you have a child. He would not let that come to the floor. Other things too. So what would be some keyways you think he should be more conservative?
@levistrauss8310 Жыл бұрын
UT Senator Romney (R) & WV Senator Manchin (D) both come from deep MAGA territory. in 2020 West Virginia voted approx. 69% MAGA/Trump. in 2020 Utah voted approx. 59% MAGA/Trump. Both Manchin & Romney are saying the same exact thing; political polarization and extremism, lack of bipartisanship, awful rhetoric. Just interesting to see the Republican states have their Senators resign because of the extremism and polarization that has gripped both chambers, but particularly the MAGA movement.
@levistrauss8310 Жыл бұрын
@@4greendeep6 the "new" Republican party under Trump has redefined what it means to be a conservative. I used to be a conservative years back in the late 2000s, but MAGA embodies nothing the conservatives stood for 15-20 years ago. It's way too crazy now, I literally can't even talk about the election without people getting up in arms. It's kind of sad cuz I enjoyed having good political debates with folks....now they're just miserable and no one wants to talk about anything political.

Utah is not “deep MAGA territory.” A large portion of us Utahns voted for Evan McMullin. Our state was at best tepidly for Trump. 59 percent is woeful for a Republican in a red state. Also, neither person you mentioned is resigning. They are retiring, which isn’t the same thing.

Not a man who isn’t sure if he is democratic, independent, or republican? Your not special Manchen. We are all struggling to understand who we can trust.
