"Face the Nation" is the number one Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having premiered on CBS on Nov. 7, 1954. John Dickerson is the host of "Face the Nation". He also serves as Political Director for CBS News and is a contributor to Slate magazine and its podcast The Political Gabfest. Granted, the ACA is not perfect, but simply stated, as expensive as Trump says it is, people who could afford no type of health insurance before, at least have options. Second, we only hear how terrible the ACA is, but never one positive point about it. If the current administration can't confirm that the foundation of the ACA is stable, any problems down the road will lay at Trumps feet (but it will of course be "Obama's fault.") Lastly, if the ACA never existed, what wonderful healthcare plan would Trump be beating his chest about in this interview?
