Extended Interview - Richard Hatch on Acting Career

God how I miss him,he was an amazing teacher, and friend. We had so many good times going out to dinner after class, then having another class the next morning at his apartment down the street we used to pick him up his favorite drink at the Aroma Cafe. I miss you Richard rest in peace my dear friend.

I read karl Maldens autobiography recently and he tells of the time that Richard Hatch replaced Michael Douglas on the streets of San Francisco, Malden said Douglas was a pleasure to work with and always keen to learn....while after Hatch worked on San Francisco for a few weeks, Malden remarked to him that if he worked hard he could be a big star some day, Hatch replied 'I am a big star'...Karl Malden said he knew than the show was finished.......and Hatch was quickly forgotten!

I agree with the comment from DES FITZGERALD 3 years ago-- Richard hasn't aged well :-( He was so tan in younger days, maybe he shoulda used more sunscreen ?? He's still VERY handsome. Did he have pancreatic cancer in this video ? LOVE ♥ Richard, he was and always will be my favorite actor. RIP Richard, you are missed.
