Scott inside now doing 8 to 20 due to theft of credit card and using it and burglary charge,due to not paying his hotel bill,how they charge with burglary for that I don't know.But he received a few years probation and was ordered to go to rehab which he failed,then failed 3 drug tests after getting another chance and was tested positive for meth. Some could say jail is the best place but the length of time for theft et cetera I think is cruel,the man needed help but he's been inside now 5 years from what I've read.I hope he sorts himself out.

I'm sure deep down inside Scott knew, but sensed he could be next laying on his death bed dying of the same disease his former lover has/had. All died, but Scott. God spared Scott because of his innocence of coming into this type of relationship. Scott was a veterinarian assistant only trying to give medicine for Liberace's aging poodle's eyes, that's it. But once Liberace found out about Scott's poor background, he showered him with extravagant gifts, and sexually satisfied him, as well. Scott was a boy, not yet a man who was seduced by a masked devil (wolf in sheep's clothing). He deserves to live, and entertain the world by his book that eventually became a movie, Behind The Candelabra. Not to punish Liberace, but to clarify what went on behind closed doors. I think he was too. It's really sad because I think Liberace was so phenomenally talented, but Scott was only 16 years old when he met him and that is really sexual abuse which I think a lot of people don't think about. He was a minor and he was vulnerable and he had to come from a broken home, in and out of the system and here with someone who was like his Savior and the love of his life, and to put him through that just sounds wrong altogether. Scott Thorson came from a poor and dysfunctional family. He wanted to feel secure and loved - we all do, it’s a basic human need. He was obviously young when he met Liberace, an older man with years of life and sexual experience. Going from a poor background to the immense wealth with which Liberace bestowed upon Scott must have been like a fantasy world for him. Who wouldn’t be overwhelmed by it all, especially at such a young age? It would be like the equivalent of a lottery win. However, there has to be something seriously odd about a person who encourages their lover to get plastic surgery so that they look like them. 🙄 I do believe that Scott wanted to make Liberace happy in any way that he could and whilst he had concerns about having his face rearranged, he possibly felt obliged to Liberace because of the life he provided Scott with. Liberace knew that Scott was unlikely to refuse his request. Scott had obviously got used to living a certain lifestyle and I think if any of us had come from such a broken background, could we honestly say we would want to go back to being poor? Scott was young, impressionable and eager to be loved and give love. I think that he loved Liberace more, but Liberace saw Scott as expendable. After all, he was quick to replace him with the dancer as soon as things got stale. The trouble with immensely wealthy people is that they often treat people like playthings, because they know that as soon as they become bored with them, along comes another willing victim...and very often these people are victims and people like Liberace know exactly the kind of game they can play with them. All the stuff about, “I would like to adopt you, I’m your family now” is pure gold to someone like Scott. They desperately want and need the security. Unfortunately in Scott’s case, Liberace was not in it for the long haul. 😢 I think Scott feels proud of the film, Behind the Candelabra and rightly so. Without Scott, there would be no film. A pity Scott was treated so shabbily by Liberace at the end of their relationship and by the hangers-on that Liberace employed. I know that he is currently in jail and his life has not gone in the way in which he may have hoped it would. Drug addiction - that began with the plastic surgery - spells in prison, etc. Hopefully one day, life will become better for him.

Scott is obviously playing up (capitalizing on?) his 'resemblance' to Liberace. There's absolutely no reason for him to have his hair cut exactly like Liberace's. That's not something Liberace is insisting on in 2013. Nor is the obviously recent plastic surgery something Liberace has insisted on. It's all Thorson's decisions. He's reminding people of his connection to Liberace. His voice also carries echoes of Liberace, in a way it never did in earlier interviews. These aren't accidents or natural similarities--Scott has manufactured an image for himself that resembles Liberace.

Not many people (especially in the comments section here) understand the mind of someone like this guy. He’s a survivor and an opportunist. He grew up neglected and knew how to get things his way. He has also been in and out of prison. He testified against Eddie Nash. I agree. He did get terribly hurt. But he isn't a saint. Foster care messes people up. My MIL adopted 2 kids aged 3 and 5 who were her foster children. One would think that would be young enough to salvage their direction in life. NOPE! My FIL laid dying of cancer, his real children grieved - those two were stealing everything at the house when we were all at the hospital. When they visited him they would always leave with his credit card or cash - and they knew he was dying horribly and in pain. When my husband went to spend his final night at the hospital, one of them knew he was there with HIS father. They thought I would be there too. I stayed home, FIL was never my cup of tea, but no matter how much I hated him I didnt want to see him die. There were literally 3 break in attempts that night - the police arrested 2 different people on two separate occasions that night, literally 3 hours apart. Imagine my rage when I saw one of these people at FIL's funeral hanging out with the foster trash. Now that we have to take care of my MIL we can always count on them: to steal, scam, instigate, beg for funding, and ruin the holidays. When a person tells me they have been in foster care I see nothing but a sociopath and I get and stay far from the. Those two are pushing 40, until the old lady dies we will never be free. She knows who and what they are, even cut them out of the will. "But they dont know any better because they were foster kids...."

I think because Scott grew up poor and in foster homes made him what he is today. He didn't know what Liberace's intentions were when they first met and he moved in with him. Then when the sex happened Scott figured he'd do whatever Liberace wanted so he wouldn't be back on the street. Liberace did love him which is what Scott wanted, he never had anybody really love him. But Liberace also had a dark side about him which most people didn't know and still don't believe.I sure didn't know all that stuff about Liberace before. Some people think Scott was just a gold digger and is now taking revenge. But if you don't have any love growing up and here's a very wealthy man who not only loves you but wants to give you a lot of weatlh, most people would do the same thing. I think Scott now just takes in all the limelight because he never had it before and it does feel good, who wouldn't do it? He has nothing else going fo him. What other job could he do, what experience does he have? He said all the limelight is a bit overwelming, then why is he doing all the interviews? I myself love hearing all the stuff about Liberace. I herd Scott is out of jail now. I would sure like to read his new book. I hope Scott can get his act together and not go back to jail and find something meanyful to do with his life, after all he's still kind of young, and just have happy memories of Liberace and Michael. And if his new book sells alot of copies and is a movie and he goes on more talk shows, then good for him, but he really needs to stay away from drugs and in jail and do something with his life other then just go on talk shows as Michael and Liberace's lover. The book isn't even out yet which I sure hope it is soon. But are they sure it would even be made into a movie. If so I hope it's not on HBO which I don't have. I saw this one on youtube but it's not there anymore. And I sure hope Matt Damon will still be in it as he was fantastic in this one.He said people will know the truth now that's he's wrote the book, bull crap people still believe what they want to. I felt bad for Scott when Liberace would control him like when Scott said he wanted to go out more and Liberace didn't want to and said Scott was un grateful.I had also read that in the book. I don't know if it was Liberace's fame and money but Elvis use to control Pricellia. Scott said his relationship was real but before he had said even though he cared for Liberace he grew up poor and in so many foster homes. I think both of them used each other at times. I felt bad for Scott in the movie when Liberace just threw him out without trying to help Scott if he did have a drug problem or whatever. And when Scott's foster mother died and Liberace told him to go and take as much time as he needs and then Liberace cheated on him. I wonder if Liberace told him to take as much time because he knew he would cheat on him. The lawyer or whoever the guy was when Scott sused Liberace had said, everybody who gets fired from other jobs get severence pay. I told myself, I didn't get any from the Insuance co. I just got unemployment and that's because it's the law. I don't know how much Scott loved Liberace but he did really care about him. The maid had told Scott that Liberace loved him more then anybody, but then why didn't he take him back? I felt bad for both of them because I know it was a much different time back then and gays couldn't come out or it would ruin their careers, but Liberace would do anything to deny he was gay even if it ment herting other people like when he just trew Scott out on the street and then kept denying there was any relationship and Scott was making it all up. I felt bad that Scott didn't get more then he did when Liberace ended their relationship. I understand he was hert, but come on the guy was Liberace's lover for all those years and had to keep it a secret. I mean it was Scott's choice but still. I did like the way Liberace and Scott's relationship ended at the end when Liberace asked if he was OK and how was his health and he did ask to see the guy a few times. I wonder if Liberace had known he could get aids and died, if he still would have had so much un protected sex.

the only things that happen to scott is worst even though he look ok but in inside is not, his life being a teens is been altered by the life being with Liberace, the promises and lust i don't think Liberace love him so much because if he really care about Scott he should guide that person specially during the time of Scott growing up from teens to adulthood. there is a big problem during the time when a child transformation into adulthood and that is love and care not to be abused. i really feel sadness what happen to scott his drugs addiction and the another case he is facing right now. hope that the film of "behind Candelabra" is lesson to every rich and mature people that we should care young one to grow up properly not to used and abused even though young people like what we're doing..

I agree when Scott did drugs he should have been there for him and got him some help but not just throw him out. And when Scott got mad at Liberace because they never go out and Liberace won't let him go out by himself. Whe he first started with Liberace he wanted to be a vet. Liberace didn't even encouge him to be a vet which I hated. He just told Scott, you want to work with animals, go pick up the dog poop. But if you go to the interview about behind the seens of the movie, this employee/friend said Liberace really loved Scott and Liberace was the happiest he's ever seen him. I believe he really did love Scott, but in some ways he didn't show it and be there for Scott.
