As someone who followed U2 in the 80s to the 00s i never found what I was looking for ....in NZ in 2013 I did his name is Jesus and 10 yrs later I still have found what Im looking for ..Jesus ....I dont think Bono has ever really found Jesus or he would talk more of him and less about anything or anyone else ......I am a bit pissed off tbh to have followed these guys for so many years and drunk so many beers but I might as well have been following the pied piper..

Yes I loved bono and his music, but when a Christian tells you to feed the world, when they live in a castle and play the world it makes you question their authenticity

Bono says in a 1993 interview that he got tired of playing God in the 80s so he tried playing the devil instead . This tells me he was never really a Christian in the 80s because when you know God is real you don't feel compelled to play him . Once I found out Jesus /God is real in 2013 I stopped playing God myself or desparing in ignorance and fear . Love you Bono but listen to some real Christian bands and preaching God is real you can stop worrying he has won victory over sin and death

@@miarrem so what was the point because it certainly wasn't about Jesus at least Christmas and Easter are clearly about Jesus .I think U2 was more about Bono and his pain and I could relate to that at the time but in many ways he only pulled me closer to despair
