Not yet familiar with your channel, but watched a few reviews on the Drop Bear, and yours is by far the most informative (ok, I'll admit I was totally sold in the first three minutes of the cut tests), but the ergonomics and quality just nailed it. Instant Subscriber here, mate.

Picked up an S35VN version for only 90 bucks but initially didn’t like the blade shape and the chonkiness. Almost returned it, but damn if it didn’t grow on me, especially the great action - fidget factor is through the roof. And it has *really* held an edge after some fairly heavy use. Now one of my favorite knives to carry.

I absolutely love the Kizer Drop Bear!!! Own a couple including this exact model and the Toxic Avenger Green Carbon in 20CV. Digging them replacement thumb studs and Ti clip. Been thinking of doing the same man. It is such a great EDC. Super slicey and a great hand friendly knife! Looking forward to snagging up at least the micarta version coming out let alone the other special one lol.

Totally digged this video Doody! I am a huge fan of the Drop Bear. Love the drop point with a very slight recurve in the meat of the blade. Let alone the action of the Access Lock. Great bang for the buck! Thank you greatly for the content. Subscribed!

I bought the blue version from Knife center because I couldn’t get the black one I wanted. A week later I got a hold of the black one and now White mountain came out with the red Micarta version. Guess what I did?!🤦🏻‍♂️

I really dig this knife! For me it’s the perfect size handle and blade. I tuned my springs a bit and it’s nice that Kizer gave us the option!

I already purchased the Escort in Burlap Micart last month I had adjust Omega springs and change out the stuts for red ones Kiazer has sale 95$ for Drop Bear in Black or Silver blade I'm going purchase the Black blade with purple studs in December this will be the last knife in 2023 for me.I will change out the clip for Civivi Titanium 😊

Handsome knife. I dig the thumb studs. 20CV would be nice; seems like a good deal. Just looked to see what my favorite Bugout is selling for - the 535-4 (aluminum handle with M390). It's freakin' $270!! Love mine, but I'm not sure I'd pay that no matter what. $180 MAP for a Grivory is outright nuts. I like the Bugout platform a lot and have several versions. If another is released that's hard to resist, I'll look for it on the secondary. Spyderco is finally shipping the Magnacut Native 5. I have one preordered. My wife, bless her heart, thinks we'll have it within 2 weeks, but we all know better. Maybe April.

DD, they made the blade just less than 3”so you could carry it anywhere in the USA legally. It’s supposed to be top 5 of all edc’s… the more I read and watch videos on it the more I like it… it was this or a cru carta pm 2… I’m thinking the drop bear in titanium and LC200M steel. The Pm 2 Cru carta will have to wait for more funding… trying to recover from the Spyderco lil temperance in k390 I ordered.

Since I bought mine some months ago (actually 2 of them, aluminum and fat carbon in 20CV versions), the fat carbon version has not left my pocket. This knife checks all the boxes for me (and I have a bunch in my collection) and sends the pseudo king of EDCs "bugout" stuff to ashes.

Oh absolutely! It puts the Bugout to shame. Kizers first attempt at a cross bar lock, and it’s already better than any BM I’ve handled. I’m super tempted by that new titanium and LC200n version..

Just bought mine with LC200N blade steel and titanium acid wash look handles. It was $159 less 10% off at white mountain knives. Assuming it’s legit LC200N steel, it’s a steal at the roughly $146 I paid!

Drop bear is to slippery for me as a work knife. For me the 154 cm on this particular knife dulls fairly quickly and for the price I would have like to seen 4V or something else because with kizer that's possible once you're in the $120 price range. Blade shape is okay but not very thin behind the edge. Excellent fidgeting knife!!!

Just ordered the Kizer Escort which has the same lock and aluminum scales. Have you seen that one yet? For my preference I like the escort's almost Scandi drop point more than the stubby spear point.

Hey there! I have this knife and have been testing it for a week now. The lock has some play vertically and I'm not sure what should be done about it. I've celaned it, changed the spring to a stronger one, put it on the strongest setting - then it's not rocking that much but it's still there. Do you think it will go away with time?
