Looks and sounds more like polyester resin, not epoxy. Epoxy hardener ratios are much higher and has longer curing time

Hi mate quick tip if you round the edges of your wood the mating will go round better also put your mix in a paint roller tray it will last longer. Doing a good Job mate.

@@Philip-u2xI have since seen the rounding of edges on other videos (wish I’d known 😂). As for the tray tip I didn’t know - I’ll try that! Thanks for the advice… I’ll pass it on in the next video 👍👍

That boat needs at least a 60 horse to get on the plain no? Most boats around 18 to 20 foot have 100 to 150hp. You will lose a lot of engine efficiency per kilometer with the boat plowing through the water instead of lifting out of the water. A 60hp on the plain backed off in the rpms will be far more fuel efficient than a tiny engine struggling with a tiny prop. Will also get you there quicker. Can always upgrade in the future though.

@@jonny5714 you’re absolutely right, however the river and canal that this boat is going into has 5 knots speed limit… boring but peaceful! Hence the measly 15hp 👍 I did think it was strange for a boat this size to have such a small (15”) transom.

@@Danyorks Ahh yes that makes sense, sorry didn't realize it was a canal boat. I'm assuming that boat is around 17 foot or 5.5m. If so it's likely that 15 inch transom had a 40 to 60hp. It will be a very nice peaceful boat indeed.
