Extending a Die to Make it BIGGER!

Today, I showed you how to extend two different dies to make them bigger! Sometimes we have a great die but it's just too small for a slimline or 5 x 7 card. This video will help you expand the size of those dies for your larger canvas.

I was sitting at home here in Australia,(and yes it is summer but not a real good one. Having lots of windy cool days) Anyway, I was watching and when you asked about either a stamped or die cut sentiment, I was thinking the thankyou stamp. I got so excited when you were going with that. But, the end result was beautiful. As always.

Great tips! Gina, if you remove the crank handle from you Spellbinder machine and give it a quick shot of W-D 40 (only the interior metal mechanism parts) and then reattach it, it probably won’t squeak anymore during videos. ;-)

That honey mustard is such a beautiful colour. Thank you for showing us another wonderful technique. I do scrapbook and this would be great to put pictures in. Great tips Gina, especially about nesting dies and static, scrapbook and card making supplies are not readily available in regional Australia so I have switched to US A2 card sizes because that works better with US supplies LOL 😂 I always love your techniques TFS, I have been a fan since the early Stamp TV days. Yes it is summer at the moment in OZ although today is very cool.

All I do is rub them on a textured paper towel. I have one brush for each color family, blues, greens, etc ❤️

I have the larger Gemini, not the largest ... it warps every plate so badly, including my Magic Mat. I'm so disappointed in the Gemini. It cuts good but ruins the plates. I bought it last summer and after using once the top plate was warped. After three uses, it looks like an elongated "S" ...

I have the Gemini too. Jennifer McGuire has a fix for warping plates. Two clear plates, two plates for the double-sided dies. You Can tape one of each type together to make your sandwich. Don't ever use the metal shim, you won't ever need it. Try this, it's a game changer.
