I have a 2018 SG and just re watched your video. I live in Wa. state and we get a "fair" amount of rain here so I ordered one. Even if it only helps a little bit it may be worth it. Came to 44.50 us dollars.

I fitted mine a year ago and it's still on. I had a lot of messages saying it won't stick but providing you prepare properly and make sure all surfaces are really clean then you will have no problems but I did also use an extra adhesive. It rains a lot in the UK and Im really pleased Ive got it. Ride safe and thanks for commenting👍

I just did this. the pyramid plastic double sided tape peeled off after about a month so I pulled it off before it fell off... I ended up having another go with a few bits of external use double sided tape and used some black automotive sikkaflex polyurethane adhesive. Seems to have worked but time will tell. I also put a Chinese chin spoiler on - looks good actually.

oh and re: the radiator damage, get some flat black paint and use relatively dry paint brush and you will take the shine off the radiator and will barely see it..

I bought a piece of mesh from Rad Guard online and fitted to my oil cooler to protect it.

I bet it was a lot cheaper than the £100 plastic guard I bought from motea to protect my oil cooler. What are HD thinking by not giving it a little protection

Avec le temps ça a tenu ?? Ou vous avez riveté ?? En tout top le résultat bravo
@My_bike_and_me Жыл бұрын
No rivets, still holding. All as good as the day I installed it👍
@grahamfielding57742 жыл бұрын
You need to fit the plastic rivets or the adhesive will eventually fail.

Going to be my last resort, really dont want to drill the fender

Why not use sticks like shite on the whole area rather than the adhesive pads ?
@My_bike_and_me Жыл бұрын
Hi, My intention was to just use the supplied adhesive pads but went with the additional adhesive just as an added security. no reason why you cant just use your own adhesive though. For info, the fender extender is still on and working well
