I adore this look and technique. Hard gel is tricky at first, but I think I love it the most, especially for building and finishing the nails without a need for too much shaping with filing. This is such a beautiful design and the encapsulation is perfect! I was thinking that with a sea type design, some bubbles might give an underwater effect! But no bubbles in sight, so perfect! 🥰

I’m guessing any kind of iridescent organza with similar weave would work. I have some shiny gold organza bags that came with some yarn I purchased so I might need to give this a go.

I don't know if it's called mica. I do recognize them as "flakies". Used to see it a lot when the unicorn and mermaid nails had just started. I don't have a scrunchie but I do have xmas tinsel decoration with the same colour shift 😁
