Hello GodofGimiz, This really helps. To Merge default and external application.properties file, Please use --spring.config.additional-location=C:\Data\Hadoop\springexternal_location\ instead of --spring.config.location

why do want bak file to be created? bak is used for backup and it is usually created when we use editplus(similar to notepad++)

Hi, For war file is this the same way? I can't find the config folder while generating a war file

I guess, it should work with war file as well. You have to create config folder outside package by yourself.
