Quick walkthrough (for those interested to try): The first part is straightforward with masking. There's usually a supply bag in each area so you can find it and move on quickly. Also have a look at breaching charges for possible ammo or equipment improving bag. The final area is very RNG dependent. The best chance of doing this is to have the first swarm from the parking garage, and the second objective being a grid reset. Having the first swarm from the parking garage is easier and more consistent to deal with since the pyramids are closer. Usually when the swarm comes from the stadium, the airstrike is not enough to stop the swarm from attacking the middle front gate. As soon as you reach the area, find the flare and start the defence as soon as possible to avoid the small horde, while also keeping a look out for possible supply bag spawn locations. Once defence starts, give the zeke some time to pile up at the gate and fire the flare at the middle of the two pyramids at 5:05 to try and clear them both. This prevents the zeke from swarming the middle front gate which cannot be controlled with the flare gun. After which, retreat to the grid at 5:15 to use it to clear the zekes - though becareful as bulls can break them. Though zekes can still attack the left and right wings, so you'll need the flare gun to distract them away from the wings. To do so without killing them, you'll need to aim a little bit higher so they get aggro-ed away, but not on the ceiling since it can damage through the wall and kill those zekes above. After which having a reset grid objective is the easiest - for the left wing, make use of the grid at 6:35 to clear the zekes for you. Flaring around the two spots at 6:55 is enough to attract the zekes away without killing those upstairs - you can see them running up. Now all you need to do is stall for time before you reset it. The final area is time-based, you just need to stall for ~6 minutes (time starts after starting the objective) before clearing the final objective you're currently doing to finish the defence.

Go to a normal campaign private lobby and turn off bots > ready up > cancel ready > go to extinction private lobby and start game. That should let you play without bots.
