In really tough terrain a skidder with 4 tracks works well.

+aus71383 as of about 2 years ago they are. but this one and every John Deere before was a straight drive!

I mean I don't do logging (My father does) but this location just doesn't seem right to me. Are you not suppose to do this on flat ground? And my build the road a bit better... or maybe build some sort of road in general.

Are you serious ? Moste of the forests are on hills so this location is totaly right. And why sould you build a good road if they ruin it with logging ?

Maybe its different for me I live in a place that is pretty flat everywhere, As the road i don't mean like "Oh shit better bust out the pavement" I just mean flatter but then again a lot of logging is done when the ground is frozen so maybe im just spewing shit.

el que conduse esa maquina deveria saver que en cada viaje deveria limpiar el camino i se evitaria de todo ese trabajo extra de dejar la carga i recojerla a cada rato cuando se le presentan esas subidas co barro
