This song was a huge hit for Elvis in the late 50's. This video shows Haley with Casey Abrahms on piano. The two were contestants together on American Idol about 10 years ago. After Idol they performed many times together. This song was recorded as the sound track for the commercial which you saw in this video. Please continue with Haley as she has an incredible voice and has several originals worth viewing.

She actually Re-recorded this song not too long ago. Same beautiful voice but, slightly uodated vocal arrangement for the song. Still the same but subtle changes that make all the difference. She truly does make songs her own when she sings them. Incredible.

You may want to watch the full version of the TV Adverisement for Extra gum. This video cut in and out of Haley and the Ad. The full Ad shows the only the couple and you don't see Haley at all. It was such a well done TV Ad with Haley singing.

@@georgeprime2249 I know what you mean, but the full effect of the commercial is seeing the ad in full first. Then I’d watch the version with her in the studio and cutting in and out with the ad. Haley is beautiful and a great performer, so definitely watching her is a joy, but it’s a great ad.

Dax, I can see by looking through your channel's catalog of reactions, you're responding to Haley because she such an outstanding vocalist. You've also featured another of today's fabulous voices with Floor Jansen, though I lost that loving feeling for the genre of Symphonic Rock/Metal during the late 80s with Pink Floyd. Now that's me not the genre - Nightwish is the best of the genre and the leader's skills at writing and producing are killer. That said, what really turned me on to Floor was her work on the Dutch show Beste Zangers where she reveals just how good she is. Her duet with Henk Poort on Phantom of the Opera and her solo of Shallow are just two of the 8 or so songs she sang. Highly recommend exploring those. Also from the comment section of 7 Nation Army, the suggestion of the young contralto Diana Ankudinova, and while Wicked Game is great, it's done on a competition show which means you get interruptions of applause and buzzers. Diana competed two years running on this show and won both times. Her audition song on the first show was a French pop song by Indila called Derniere Danse (Last Dance). The link I'm going to put here is a longer version than the truncated show version. I personally pretty much hate back stories, but Diana's is quite compelling so if you find any interest in her, you should search that out. Someone mentioned the two of them singing Dear Prudence acoustically. That's pretty sweet. Haley has put out about three or so albums as has Morgan. For real hoot, check out Haley's cover of the country classic, Blue which shows off her yodeling skill and also her jazz skills performing with Jeff Goldblum & the Mildred Snitzer Orch. Great, but you cut the video off too soon. You should have waited until she opened up her eyes. While the song itself wasn't a hit song because it was released independently by Haley herself, had it been released, on the other hand, through a big major record label, it would have inevitably been a mega hit for her. Nonetheless, regardless, this song will again, blow you away. As Haley is supremely talented as both a singer and a songwriter. Also, when she wrote this song, she says she was channeling the late great Etta James.
