Hello Backpacker, in this content we will replace the Suzuki SX4 X-Over Extra Fan with a Karimun Box Radiator Fan. This case often occurs in Indonesia because the header in the Suzuki SX4 engine room is located close to the Extra Fan motorbike which is made of composite plastic, and this is exacerbated by the hot climate in our country.
Apart from Asia, the Suzuki SX4 is also marketed in America and Europe, and has even participated in the WRC or World Rally Championship several times. In Europe, this car is sold by Fiat under the name Sedici, whose engine cabin construction has been tested in countries with relatively colder climates than Indonesia, which is why in Indonesia there are many cases of radiator fan frames melting.
Many also believe that the Extra fan motor with the Mitsubishi brand used in the SX4 has a hotter working temperature than the Denso dynamo motor. So there are also those who testify that when it was replaced with a Denso extra fan, the plastic frame used did not melt. But that's just the opinion of a few people.
Rather than still taking risks and spending almost the same amount of money, here we decided not to speculate and chose the safe route of using a radiator fan with a steel frame (the original ex-Singapore car had a Karimun box) which we will modify the mount a little in this video.
What you need to pay attention to is that you have to change the AC fuse from 20 Amperes to 30 Amperes, because this extra fan has slightly more power than the SX4's default fan. The noise generated is also a little louder, but the airflow is extraordinarily fast, so your engine room and AC will also be cooler and safer.

Sekedar berbagi informasi....🙏 Kalo liat motor fan Karimun kotak nya termasuk Karimun kotak lokal Indonesia..... Diameter motor fan Karimun kotak lokal kurleb 11 cm dg kecepatan mencapai 2800rpm, kalo Karimun eks Singapura diameter kurleb 10 cm dg kecepatan 1800 rpm.... sama2 11 bilah daun Alhamdulillah sy punya keduanya , dan sdh pernah sy ukur 🙏

saya udh ganti dgn fan karimun sprti di vidio.. udh bbrp bulan smua ok2 aja.. namun pas bbrpa hri kmrin ac jd tdk mau cut off klo mbl dlm posisi diam.. sy cb tes naikin ke rpm 1500 dan tahan bbrp detik baru cut off, mslhnya dr apa ya ?? apa sekring 30 ngaruh ke cut off..
