this is a gorgeous flower. I would have liked more description of the paper weight, sizes cut etc. of the petals. how much paper is used to make one flower. less time on curling edges etc. Also an example of how to hang .

Hi Marie, I use 65lb card stock for the flower, and I use 40 pieces of 8.5x11 as it is a large flower and has lots of layers. I use heavy duty wire attached to the back to hang the flower.

Beautiful. Do they hold up in high humidty areas like Florida's hot Summers? How would you make these out of foam sheets?

I don't make them out of foam myself, but they may hold up better in high humidity areas. I don't think regular cardstock will be able to withstand. You can also spray a coating to it to help protect against the environment though

Hi Anita! I think it helps to know that the Cricut is very user-friendly while the Silhouette Cameo has a lot of functions but can take a while to learn the ins and outs of it (I am still learning!). I have files for the silhouette cameo while the cricut files I have are just svgs - I can offer more files in Silhouette Cameo format (e.g., files for the centers) while I can't offer them now for the cricut. The tool I use is called a Bone Folder and I bought it at a local craft store - you can purchase them at Michael's or Joanns if they carry it (smaller stores may not) but it is available on amazon! Just search "Plastic fold and score tool" - the one I have is larger than the ones you can find in store usually.

Made with all the layers, it is 20-22" wide, but you could certainly leave off some of the petals for a smaller rose

Have you ever had to transport them over a long distance? If so, how would you do it?

I personally did not (it would be shipped if so). But if you can't set up and transport the wall as one piece, I would suggest stacking them on top of each other and placing them with boxes with some sort of padding (e.g., bubble wrap).
