Hello, I'm becoming a big fan of your Everquest content as many of your videos have helped me get back on track after being away from the game for over 15 years. Since I don't have any friends that play, and I couldn't find much information online, I was hoping you could help me with something. I'm on a lvl 100 necro and I'm leveling in Dead Hills. I snare and root then DoT, but it seems if I back up too far, I teleport right to the mob, this is becoming more friequent. Is it something the mobs in this zone can do, is it a glitch, or is it something I'm doing> Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you for reaching out and the kind words. Some mobs 50+ will summon you, you should see something like "You have been summoned" in the chat window. This is a mechanic of higher level mobs. Not all mobs do it but it is best to avoid them when solo as a necro with root/rot (root + dots). You can pet tank these mobs (IE the pet tanks it while a merc and you heal it while still doing dots/snare/root). I would just fight other mobs or pet tank them, its not worth the risk with root/rotting them. Let me know if you have more questions. I am here to help.
