Extra tips to search for a TS

This video is the continuation of • TS Guess Structure for... . Here I show some additional ways to enhance the likelihood of locating a transition state, using a SN2 reaction as an example. In particular, I focus on changing the bond distances, adding explicit numerical Hessian calculations for predetermined nuclear coordinates, as well as forcing a negative eigenvalue.
