Some business processes may consume the XML as an input/output to exchange data to/from a web server.
When receiving data from a web server, the data is always a string.

Very nice explanation. My problem is that i don´t need the information from the XML file right away. Instead i would like to find specific informations in the XML file and then store them in an Excel sheet. is this possible? Thanks in advance

Thanks Kilian for watching the session. The answer of your question is to get the data from XML file and just like I displayed on message box you can store into Excel as well for this u have to use Excel application scope and some of the hot keys.

Otherwise you can try this way: You can create datatable using build datatable activity, using variales too. If you can extract required values from the xml, then you can easily insert into datatable using add data row activity. and also add that datatable to excel using write range activity.
