We will explore some ways to get the Isle Royale Greenstone out of the basalt that it naturally occurs in. These methods are more educational in purpose to describe how these greenstones are harvested.

Yes, we had a computer randomly select the winner and the winner was chosen on the 30th and contacted through email. We will do another contest soon. Thank for asking.

So recently I've gotten my hands on a bunch of basalt with greenstones from central mine. What I've been doing for the exposed ones is using a dremel with a Dimond tip and extracting them by digging around them, so far is been working pretty well

The closeups are out of focus, but cool rocks nonetheless. Look forward to seeing them polished!

Do you sell any of your basalt? I bought some a couple years ago, but the largest greenstones in it were only about 5mm.

I noticed that you took down the video where you were giving away a Greenstone for commenting below. Did you select a winner?

Looks low grade😅 I don't think those are gonna tumble up quite like you think

Looks cam be deceiving. After they are tumbled a good percentage of them have pattern. Often greenstone have good pattern on one side and not the other side as well. They have a coating or shell over the pattern that has to wear off often as well. I tumbled a bunch that looked plain but after tumbling they look great.
