Unless you are doing it from Russia, the country that fights American injustice by imprisoning, poisoning/shooting/bludgeoning to death Russian dissidents, globally in Syria, Libya, Sudan and--yes, Ukraine! When a person is all morally high and mighty from his own convictions, he fails to see the trees from the forests.

Not only should Julian be freed, he should be fully compensated for the suffering that he and his family had to endure. This is the biggest freedom of the press case in decades. If the US succeeds in its persecution of Assange, any journalist anywhere can be charged for publishing truthful information provided to them by whistleblowers. This case is an absolute disgrace to democracy.

Afterwards, in a change of government im Ecuador, he was sold to UK and they forced him out of the embassy in London. Too much, too much to generate fear through one man. It is a very dirty game that is being played here. Julian has already been left to rot in inhumane conditions in the British maximum security prison Belmarsh and will then be extradited to the USA, where he faces 175 years in prison. Unfortunately, he would not survive an American prison for long. The prisons in the USA and the conditions there are famous and notorious. I hope and pray that he is not extradited, because that would mean his certain death in the not too distant future. I have great confidence in Mr. Assange and no fault has ever been found in Wikileaks. The irreconcilable hatred of the Americans towards him can be equated with psychopathy. He has only ever told the truth and that still doesn't suit those who are affected by it. In principle, most of us know that we are constantly being lied to. What Julian did was to make this accessible to the general public. That alone and nothing else is his crime. If he is extradited, it will be a serious blow to investigative journalism. It would be a resounding slap in the face to independent journalism as a whole. Julian Assange has pilloried the cheats, liars and criminals. In the name of God. Is that a crime? Those he has exposed should go to prison in his place, because Julian is innocent and even an American hole called a prison won't change that. Free Assange!!!

I mean he kinda put himself In the situation by attempting to hack Into government computers so he can leak more info, I understand why he would want to but definitely not the way to go about It especially having a family? Could of just stayed under the radar and lived life with his family but couldn't. Hard to feel sorry for someone who's just dumb 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you're confusing Julian Assange with Chelsea Manning. Assange was just the publisher of the documents.

@brandonjames9143 Never in my life have i seen such a stupid comment. The facts that you call Assange dumb is delusional. Ofcourse he could have lived an easy life without getting in danger, but he chose to do what is right even when he knew his life might be in danger. The fact you said he attempted to hack government computers just shows your stupidity... He published leaks.

It's difficult to over look that fact, and his near razor sharp focused on American's war crimes, military secrets, and its hypocritical foreign policy, without using the same level of transparency with autocratic regimes in Moscow, Beijing, the Middle East, and the Persian Gulf. The US is far from perfect, but it never had the international monopoly on violating human rights and having a blatant disregard for international law.

People supporting his release should think: what if their most intimate moments were released as a KZbin video, that anyone --your friends and colleagues, parents, anyone-- could watch, mock, snicker? This guy did worse, because he damaged national security.

@williamshaw5388 Your right you do, but the point I’m making is the agenda is a perpetual war, with young men testing the most advanced unalive technology like its a sport on under developed nations rich in resources. To being in the military or following the military acting as an informant to a foreign nation on tactical strategies and equipment placement.

I live not far from where he grew up and as far as I am concerned The U.S. and The U.K. can fight over him all they want coz I don't want him back here.......He has a number of kids to a number of women and he has never provided for any of them because he is a dead beat......I have a close relation much like him always claiming to get secretive info out there but never having a real job in his life......B4 he became famous there was a funny series on T.V. about famous house guests who refused to move out.......One young married couple knew him thru friends and said he could stay in their apartment for the weekend and he refused to move out for 6 months.......He even brought women over he had met in a bar......That is why he loved living in The Ecuador embassy and I KNEW they would have to throw him out. He doesn't care if he can't leave the embassy because he had free rent and food for years there right in the heart of London.......He would have stayed there forever had they not kicked him out.
