Depends how you measure greatest. I feel like the term "greatest" is subjective no matter what. We could go by listens, but there's no way to track listens prior to just a few years ago, so it couldn't be accurate. We could go by sales, but most people don't purchase songs anymore, so it couldn't be accurate. We could go by overall impact on music, but there are plenty of top tier songs that aren't exactly inspirational. Idk, I don't think there's an objective way to quantify it.

I know Emily is not a big fan of "The Beatles" which is funny considering they were the progenitors of mainstream pop music (all music she enjoys). Also, neither seem aware of Chuck Berry's influence as the father of rock and the inventor of rock guitar. They created the meta!

They also sold way more than Kanye despite only releasing music for 7 years while Kanye has already been around for 20+ years. There's absolutely no comparison.

You know I understand if you grew up listining only to one or two genres OR you grew up in the church OR with religious & strict parents who didn't like the popular music of the day.. OR you grew up being Amish BUT SOMETIMES it makes me wonder if people just grew up under literal rocks because.......... there are certain Songs/ Bands that are just so well known and soooo popular and ICONIC... they're in everything fr. Movies, Ads, TV shows, played at shopping malls, stores, restaurants... like HOW can you not have heard certain bands/musicians/ and or SONGS.?? The Beatles, CCR, The Beach Boys, Aretha Franklin, Elton John.... even into the bands/musicians of the 70s, 80s & 90s... like what???! I watch these reactors reacting to certain songs and i'm like "HOW can you get through your whole life and not heard ANY of these songs?? Sorry for my rant..... PLease B nice when you reply back!!

Most of these songs though well known aren't what would typically be chosen for certain artists.

Although Yesterday is a good song, it shouldn't be ranked first. The Beatles' best song is A Day In The Life. Someone should sit Emily down to listen to many songs of the past. She really doesn't know what she's missing. And for her to say she doesn't like rock music. Rock music had some of the most talented musicians who wrote the music and lyrics to their songs, unlike today, where someone else writes the lyrics and the music and the person you see singing is just singing someone else's song.

Used to watch mizkif through shorts and seen him with emi sometimes and their band of people. First actual video I've watched of him for more then 2 minutes and even this i watched just because of extraemily but good lord is miz fuckin annoying. This is the kind of guy that wants to be unnecessarily funny and tries to tell a joke every fuckin minute because I've known people like him and he's exactly acting like them. I dont think people realise how life style and family/friends change what people listen to. Emily grew up in an immigrant family and spent a large amount of her childhood focusing on studies, obviously she isnt going to be listening to 1950-1980 music from the uk and America when her parents probably didnt listen to it either. And if she doesnt like the song she wont look further into it if she hears it once.
