I ordered this one a few days ago. Sometimes you don't need to impress people. A nice subtle scent for you only.

This one is easy to describe for me: If you don't necessarily want to smell like a cologne, you want to smell fresh out of the shower, this one is very good It's also great if you like to spray a little on before you go to sleep. Very relaxing. I absolutely love it

Some fragrances have allergens that are absolutely worse when they heat up, as they would when worn in the sun. These allergens are usually limited in the percentage/quantity that you can use them altogether in one fragrance.

I know your collection is huge and probably equivalent to what 50 average people would accumulate in their lifetime's collectively. However, that is part of the reason a State of the Collection would be great to see. You could episodically segment it up into a series where you show parts at a time so it's not such an enormous endeavor. You could do it by brand or scent profile. You do this as an extreme hobby or maybe for a living at this point so I imagine you would know how to better separate them into categories than I ever would. With such an expansive collection, that has to be one of only a handful in the country, if not the world, your collection is far more interesting than most would be.

Just got this a few days ago. It’s one of my favorite scents now. It’s just so clean and fresh and simple. Almost like an upscale dryer sheet. I’m going to have to order a few backups

Refinement is the word that comes to mind.. This one is much easier to wear while keeping it clearly in the same vein as the OG. I actually also really like the eau & cedre. Both much easier to wear than the original while keeping true to the flanker status. . Issey Miyake frags have recently started to peek my interests.

Many reviewers saying Issey is boring and simple as a negative. The name is "The water of Issey" which conveys a pleasant lightness or "Essence of". Japanese culture isnt known to be garish/loud, so this fragrance line evokes understated, minimalist, beauty in simplicity with respect for natural elements. Some people dont want 12 notes 36hr lasting heavy fragrance.

Not sure why Issey Miyake has been doing so many safe fragrances lately. I love lavender so I have to try this before judging it but it would be nice to see them make powerful and creative fragrances again 👍

Came here to post that. Lavender on me in the sun makes my skin turn bright red and itchy af. That's why I can't wear anything with lavender when it's bright sun out (my Blue Ridge does it... sorry Ash. Still love it!). I'm guessing it's something they put inside to compensate somehow. I want to test this out now.

What is going on with Issey Miyake? They created about 4 of the best designer fragrances of the past 20 years in their flankers. Polaris, Or Encens, Pulse of the Night, Noir Ambre. They killed all of them off despite universal acclaim and demand, and then started releasing incredibly boring, pedestrian everyday scents for the past few years. Bois Arctic was pretty good but they killed that almost immediately. I'm not into these boring releases. Bring back the fragrances I named and cut out this boring trajectory Issey, if anyone from the company is reading this.

There is such thing as limited ingredients stock...or banned ingredients later on that are not allowed on market anymore!

@@kypsunrider5983 I was wondering are the banned ingredients the reason why colognes don't last as long as they did 10 years ago?
@kypsunrider59838 ай бұрын
@Mooljim I doubt.. there are releases 23/24 that last easily 12+ hours...it's the quality of ingredients related to price more specifically !

Majority of issey fragrances have been underwhelming for me i put the sport edt as their best work in the fresher line and noir ambre is a good one in the winter line, the parfum is average too i gave up trying to find the rest of the winter line because they play hide and seek with them so clearly they don’t want to sell me good quality stuff they want to sell me trash like this air freshener quality lavender or the very feminine original with the yuzu note

Ultimately doesn't matter. Sables by annick goutal has water as second ingredient, lasts for 8 hours easily, and projects for 4 of those hours. Kerosene followed is literally a nuclear bomb, and it has zero alcohol and is water based. You tried though pal.
