Grace! My home state's official tree is the buckeye, which is basically the North American conker. We have a treat called buckeye balls and they look just like conkers! It's basically a peanut butter fudge ball dipped in chocolate and we make them every year at Christmas time. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's illegal in the state of Ohio to not eat at least one at Christmas! You should try them!

if you're doing the best chocolates you should go to knoops - they do a super small one and the milk choc one has a pinch of sea salt which balances out the sweetness!

Hi there, if you want a Hot Chocolate, then I recommend either Greggs, McDonalds or Starbucks (you might want to add a Vanilla syrup to the Starbucks Hot Chocolate) rather than Costa Coffee hot chocolate. Also on another note, Costa Coffee does NOT use whipped cream compared to Starbucks - it is a Light Dairy Swirl, which has a different taste and texture to whipped cream. Best wishes and take care. So cozy and comfy to watch on a night in Seattle area. The weather here is smoky and warm still. This weekend we start classic Seattle rain and cooler temps which we haven’t seen yet weirdly. I love cheese fondue and you had some nice dipper ideas other than some of the classics. Your basic ingredient cookies with leftover decorations that need to be used came out so amazingly cute. The national trust trip looked fun also. Hope you are feeling better. I was sick for two weeks with a non Covid crud. I think a lot of people are getting things after a couple of years mostly cooped up and behind masks. I still mask up in crowded places but was at a festival and had mask on and off bc of hot weather two weeks ago. Blah. Thanks for the cheer up and looking fwd to your advent calendars! I can’t have the Costa hot choccy as it’s way too sweet for me! I did enjoy last year they did a spiced apple tea and it was yummy! From there I discovered the tea pigs super fruit tea bags! I always love the smell of fruit tea but then it tastes like dishwater but the superfluity tea pigs was amazing and now I have a subscription with them it was that good- all from trying a Christmas drink!

Is your family always like this? It is nice watching you and your family interact. Also, if you are using the proper British usage of the word deers, then you all say it differently than Americans. We don't add an "s" to it. We treat it like one of those nouns that is singular or plural. Examples: I see a deer/I see deer outside my house.
