Extremely debatable. He definitely fits the description of a traitor when you look at the basics of the situation. I understand many people feel he is somehow justified, yet working for the NSA and reveling sensitive information to anyone not authorized is a traitorous act. He could have gone about it differently keeping his concerns internal, with colleges or even just other agencies. Using journalists outside the NSA is possibly worse than even being a working operative for another country. If we take into account the definition of Traitor, "a person who is not loyal or stops being loyal to their own country, social class, beliefs", "a person who gives away or sells secrets of his or her country, or someone who is not loyal to particular beliefs or friends", being raised in the United States with trust invested by a very important agency, and doing what he did, Traitor is an accurate word. I do not really disagree with people who may use the word whistleblower either though, I totally understand. Using that label doesn't remove the other all of a sudden for me though. Doesn't mean he is a horrible person, or didn't mean well IMO though. Sometimes good people make bad decisions.

The court system understands well that under enough pressure, most anyone will fold, due to the magnitude of "power held". In my opinion, Kash Patel operates in a way that raises concerns about his affiliations, and I personally view him as a mole for Indian intelligence. This is my belief, and I stand by it. I previously voted for Donald Trump three times but now regret doing so, as I consider him a dangerous and anti-American figure.
