Kristen Stewart on the DAUNTING Part of Playing Princess Diana

Kristen Stewart makes for a stunning Princess Diana in the new movie “Spencer,” and now she’s opening up to “Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay about the role that’s already creating Oscar buzz.
While chatting at the film's L.A. premiere on Tuesday, Stewart said of playing the most famous woman in the world, “I'm not the only one that looks at pictures and videos of her and goes… 'Do I want to be her daughter, or her best friend? Or maybe I want to date her?'”
Kristen added, “Yes, she's very famous, but I think playing someone that everyone loved so much was the most daunting thing.”

Kristen looked very sure of herself in this interview. I kind of like the way she is portraying herself after years of portraying like having social anxiety in big events.

Hmm well Diana had some social anxiety too but her every move was judged and ridiculed for years so maybe Kristen learned something and gained confidence from the role. I hope she does a classy depiction Diana suffered in silence for many years I think even after the divorce she held back some details I'm sure just because of how powerful the Royals are and how they could make her life hell.

That's a very ignorant way of looking at it. She always had and has social anxiety and doesn't "portray like having" it. She said that that's why she is an actress, because the severe debilitating anxiety she has is an added challenge and she loves to challenge herself. Very brave and admirable of Kristen Stewart to always do what scares her and makes her uncomfortable, whether it's talk shows, singing, music videos, SNL.
