That’s incorrect. Niall’s original audition was on the 7th season of X Factor Dublin. The coaches were Simon, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry. Simon said yes, Louis said yes, Cheryl said no. Katy hesitated a lot and said Niall needed “to grow”, but finally said yes. He then went to boot camp in the UK.

Never really been a fan of solo Niall, but the more I watch him on this show the more I like him. He’s always seemed distant and aloof until now. He still doesn’t have a great stage presence when he performs, but he does have a great voice and his personality is developing and getting warmer. He will never have the charisma that Harry does, who does?! That’s just God given and can’t be learned, but he’s come a long way and I’m excited to watch him continue!

I loved @BlakeShelton & was sorry to see him go, though I understand he has his own life to live. Blake’s sense of humor is hilarious! He truly cared about his team. I think Reba’s doing great on the show. It’s not a matter of liking Blake more than Reba. It’s about enjoying & missing Blake’s personality & what he brought to the show & his artists. I will say I prefer Reba to Kelly Clarkson. They tease Niall for talking so much, but he’s nothing, not even close, when compared to Kelly, which I found very annoying.
