Dear Tina and Brian, you guys are really delightful. Tina, you almost made me cry when you started getting tears in your eyes for for the joy of creating your artwork and having it reach your audience and feed your inner child. I encourage you to keep doing these things. As an artist I know that sometimes we are seen as the "Black Dheep" who want to play all the time and so we don't always recognize that our ART and the creating of art is so encouraging to others. In other words, it's not just "fun and games" And if it was, why is that a problem? It it has s come to me in the last couple years, that ART IS is HEALING...healing for ourselves and healing for others. Everybody has a purpose. And everything has a purpose. The bedroom looks much more “done,” pretty and cozy. The bedside lamps are a great addition, and your artwork and the brown wall look wonderful. Love your “Calme” artwork, too. Green is my favorite color, but the brown was an upgrade.

I usually punch 5 holes in the paint can and make sure to push the screwdriver down so the holes will be the diameter of the screwdriver. Then when tilting the paint can back you need to do it slowly to give the paint time to drain. I still have some drips on the paint can, but it helps. Unfortunately I’m not very patient so I end up with more drips on the can than I should have. I couldn’t decide on which paint color but Brian made the right choice. It looks great. I have a very hard time choosing paint colors. I have spent a fortune on pain samples and end up still not liking what I choose. I have even brought the same color I have seen on you tube and liked but didn’t like it in my house. And at 67 I can’t keep painting all the time. Love your videos.

Oh Tina this bedroom makeover is incredible, I really do love the dark brown on that wall, the green was nice but this brown color just makes the whole room look amazing, and those curtains matching that brown is so beautiful. I love the brown color. My previous house I painted the master in a rich latte color. I loved it,i it went with the colors I tended to be drawn to which are totally trending now 15 yrs later. lol I totally think the season affects our color picking. I know when I got engaged at the end of summer with plans for an early June wedding I waited until the end of winter to truly pick my wedding colors. Because at the summer I was craving those earthy autumnal tones- I knew I wouldn't like that in a brighter garden palette held in a cliche rose garden June. lol It was hilarious because my bridesmaids dresses were SPOT on for the roses in bloom in the garden. lol

I love when brown gets the love it deserves, it’s a darker neutral, I feel it goes really well with warm off whites or biegy tones and natural elements or colors like green and brings out beautiful tones in wood, and general warmth and moodiness. I love the coziness and warmth after, what a difference painting and other small changes made. I loveeee that art piece, also I want that throw blanket I’ve been eyeing it for a while. I’ve been wanting to paint my walls a warm oatmeal like color and been debating brown or green for accent wall, ideally would love wallpaper but I have super textured walls, think Spanish cave, and unsure how paint will look.

Love the moody accent wall! Definitely helps elevate the space but the lighter walls help it still feel cozy. My walls are this blue-gray color (it made me feel more grown up than the fuchsia pink & sky blue walls I’ve had forever lol) but it’s way too dark for my small space.
